Beginnings. (a new spool of ink)

Nobody taught me how to care for this
carrying weight of wear and tear distress
gregorian calendars built like solar fortress
simple mistakes, spilling ink trails,
leaving finger prints
experimental spellings and mystic retellings
of old stories that didn’t get passed down
Always trying to pin the past down

dissections and diaoramas of genetic architecture
wings full spread on display with nomenclature
latin names from romantic novella
the victors text book
kids got a vicious left hook
how were we to know it’d be their last fight?

new year, feels like the old,
i cant remember what happened last night
spiritual substance ritual consumption
territorial traditionalist
speaking at the function
cultural revisionist transplant,
wonder why he don’t visit home no more?

whispering well wishes, drop a quarter in the slot
Harmonize with dial tones
Collections of 4 walled homes
that makes a dollar in time,
pressed fresh leather wallet loans
operator shares terms and service before connection
miles of wire spanning between, tin can spamming
nervous to say what I’ve been planning
CTRL ALT DLT
warsh rinse repeat
Scrubbing off layers of defeat
languages that stain the lips
sharp stones beneath my feet
Let out a cry

my therapist is not so discreet
signing my name in shining light
museum exhibit, trails of receipts and
cardiac arrest records
Gave away my only copy one day
when i was feeling cocky

trusting strangers with my passwords
i do some things backwards
sometimes fast forwards
my clock ticks on irregular heart beet
my mind runs just a bit ahead of the words
tune in with my own pace now
sun sets
squeezing tubes of toothpaste to the last
drop
a series of extractions filling cavities
Bracing for the impacts of distracting activities
building stages of growth and exposure
creating ceremony of reverence and closure
spinning living records,
Broad sheeted scrolls containing evidence
artifacts of moments passed, from our perspective

solar cycle influence, i feel it
filling roles i would have never expected
my inheritance spoken
family heirloom
better practice my penmanship.
